Congratulations to all the winners and runners up in this year’s club competitions.
Saturday saw the competitors battle against the elements as well as each other with some very wet weather with more favourable conditions on the Sunday.
There was some great bowls on display providing fantastic entertainment for the spectators.
I would like to thank all of the people who made the weekend run so smoothly. Sheila and her bar team, Sarah and her catering team, all the markers for giving up their time, our club President Dave Greenwood for presenting the trophy’s, Dave Pretty for doing some very professional score cards and finally the greens team for maintaining a brilliant surface to bowl on, despite the heavy rain.
