We currently have a larger number of men entering so as it stands, on Saturday (11th) morning, I will ask a witness to watch as I randomly draw the participants for the competition so that there is an even number of men and ladies taking part.

Anyone who has entered and not drawn to compete will be informed via email and text following this draw on Saturday and their entry fee refunded for this competition.

I appreciate that this will leave some of you disappointed but I consider it the only fair way forward with a competition of this type.

LADIES COMPETITIONS ENTRY EXTENSION

Due to current low entries, the deadline for all of the ladies’ competitions is being extended until the end of May, to allow members more time to sign up. NEW DEADLINE FOR LADIES COMPS IS FRIDAY 31st MAY.

The deadline for the Men’s and Mixed competions will still be 11th May, with the draws being completed at 1pm during the Mixed Pairs event the following day, Sunday 12th May.

After the long winter and early spring weather challenges, the Greens Team finally won through and the Top Green was officially opened by the President and the vice captains in the traditional manner! The Bottom Green is also now open for play too!
