Markers Course, Saturday 18 April, 9.30am – 4.00pm
English Bowls Umpires Association will be holding the above course at Devizes Bowls Club for all bowlers who wish to learn or improve their marking skills. It is an excellent way to learn the skills of marking and invaluable as a refresher if you have done the course previously.
On the course you will learn about:-
The basic Laws of the Sport applicable to marking
in a fun interactive quiz environment
The use of markers equipment
during a series of on-green exercises
Interactive tips and tricks for practical marking
and time management
You will receive a Certificate of Attendance, and you will be able to practice what you have learnt at the Club.
The course will start at 9.30am (please arrive at 9.00am) and finish at approx 4.00pm.
The cost £15 per person – Payment in cash on the day
Please bring bowling shoes and wear Club uniform as you will be representing your club.
