AUGUST 2023 The Question
OK time for the final test for 2023 :
Again imagine the scene , you are the Skip in a 3 Bowl Triples competition , both teams have played their shots and it is now time for the skips to play.
Often just in front of the head, the skips meet with their team members to decide tactics and the shot to be played by their Skip ( I bet you have all done this).
Its not your shot next and the opposing Skip after discussion starts to walk to the mat do you :
- If he gets there first, walk onto the neighboring rink or boundary of the rink towards the mat end to avoid blocking the opposing skips line
- Stay at the head and let the opposing skip bowl to see what happens before discussing with your team
- Make sure you walk in time with the opposing skip
